Nice to see protools with midi inspiring need more videos like this, im trying to switch from logic to protools. İ got studio license perpetual. My mix engineer uses avid, when i bounce all tracks from logic into protools the volume balance & tone is very different. Even with normalization off. Would be wiser to export audio tracks directly from protools, so i can send it as a rough mix, without tonal volume changes. İ allso love the start stop super snappy instant even with high cpu load with avid👌

Who are the top vocals mixers in America that mix top artists like future and what not.

SonarWorx did something bad anyway. They didn't make patches or new drivers for their old stuff. So, if you bought it but got a new OS which is what new computers come with anyway, you're screwed.

Bruce Swedien once said compression was for kids, he hated it. He also once said that there was no compression on Michael's recordings. How can you mix a song without using a compressor? At most, a compressor was probably used for coloring, but without the VU meter being knocked out. Could you maybe make a video about it?

Treating a small room is nearly pointless, basstraps and panels aren't gonna do much for standing waves and nodes in 10x10 room lol. just saying. It's probably better to use solutions like this and IK's ARC software/hardware for super small rooms and invest in treatment when you upgrade the space.

I think using reference ID (I do sometimes) is a tool so you can check "How is this translating?". Here's the thing though... Unless you train your ears FIRST and understand how to listen objectively on mixes, it is all for naught. In the end you need to learn how to mix as is on whatever you are using before you alter it. These products are not for the novice because they don't have the training to understand what is even happening. Knowing how your monitors respond is one thing. It's a whole other beast to know YOUR ears. And the hands down most important thing; how you perceive audio.

Alright i did try use reference track along with sonarwork calibration..it sounded the 90% same mix...after i turned it off my sub was way to much but reference stayed still good
